Denver Colorado is known for its beef. Once home to a massive livestock exchange, this ‘cow town’ knows a thing or two about steak! Guard and Grace, located in the central business district of Denver, is not, however, your typical steakhouse. It’s part of a more casual, socially conscious wave of steakhouses with bright and modern interiors. Its owner and head chef Troy Guard says it’s a steakhouse for a new generation, one that focuses on humanely raised beef and one that puts just as much care into the vegetables served on the side!
At Guard and Grace a vibrant open concept design creates an inviting place to dine and socialize. Tall ceilings and large windows offer an airier feel while earthy tones bring depth. Evoke's ‘Chester’ was installed at various angles throughout the restaurant adding a unique twist to the design. Eclectic lighting, punchy artwork and interesting rope details are some of the other unique elements Kimberly Timmons Interiors used to differentiate Guard and Grace from other steakhouses. The concept was so successful that they won an American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) award for their innovative design.
